Wenjiang district in Chengdu, Sichuan province, plans to develop into a more livable and eco-friendly area in 2018 through the "Beilin Greenway".

Beilin Greenway is 65 kilometers long, with 54.5 km newly built and 10.6 km of existing roads. It relies on the good ecological background of the northern part of Wenjiang, which has 10,000 hectares of flowers and trees, accounting for one-half of Chengdu's greenery and one-third of Sichuan Province.

Incorporating international standards for marathon running roads and international cycling tracks, Beilin Greenway passes through the towns of Hecheng, Shouan, Wanchun and Yongsheng.

Beilin Greenway also combines agriculture with medical health and cultural tourism to strengthen the greenway industry chain and add new vitality to the implementation of the rural rejuvenation strategy.

Lujia Beach, a rest stop on the greenway, is located on the banks of Jinma Lake and covers over 120 hectares. It has over 40 hectares of water areas and over80 hectares of land area, attracting many tourists to ride bicycles and camp out at weekends.
