How will the CIIE influence Chengdu?

The first China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off on November 5 in Shanghai, drawing much attention of industrial insiders and media professionals at home and abroad.

In order to deepen international trade cooperation during the event, a large number of companies in Chengdu had prepared for it for a long time, trying hard to take the opportunity to seek new partners, learn advanced experience, and upgrade their industrial transformation.

Lin Na, Deputy President of the Chengdu Research Institute of Service Industry regards the CIIE as both a global open platform for cooperation in international trade and a national strategic platform to drive China's import growth and boost its high-quality economic development.
