The upcoming China Equestrian Festival, which will be held in Wenjiang from Nov 9 to 11, will offer a variety of entertainment events in addition to the horse race.

Currently, 200 pairs of riders with over 150 horses from across the world are planning to attend the festival, the highest number since the event's inception. The festival will include the Sichuan Equestrian League (Finals), the National Equestrian Dressage Games and the Grand Prix of China Flat Racing.

The Ferghana horse, a rare species of horse, will make an appearance at the festival, as will the highest quality flat racing horses, the world's top horsemen, 100 Jeep Wranglers and six Ferraris.

Wenjiang has successfully held six China Equestrian Festivals since 2010, and it has become famous both at home and abroad. To further promote the regional opening, Wenjiang has introduced the China Equestrian Festival, Chengdu Dubai International Cup.

Wenjiang will continue to turn horse-racing into a characteristic industry for the city and make Chengdu a center for international competitions.
