Authors¡G Go Chengdu

French innovation-driven hi-tech companies and start-ups visited Chengdu and exchanged views with their Chinese counterparts.

As an important program co-launched by the Business France and Bpifrance, the French Tech Tour China is designed to introduce the most promising and innovation-driven French companies to China and expand the French-China partnership.

Earlier this year, representatives from 15 French innovation-driven hi-tech companies and start-ups made a two-week business tour in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Chengdu and other Chinese cities, where they explored China's development in hi-tech innovation and opportunities of collaboration with potential Chinese partners.

On December 3, some of the French guests visited Chengdu and exchanged views on their innovative ideas and business models with their Chinese counterparts. Both sides showed a strong expectation for and confidence in the potential cooperation.

So far, more than 100 hundred French companies in the industries involving aviation and aerospace, energy, automobile, retailing, and luxury brands, etc., have established business presence in Chengdu, because of the city's extensive market reach and great development potential.
