On the morning of August 13, an international cultural exchange program titled "Panda Kid Reporter" was launched in Chengdu, with the participation of 63 junior reporters in the city.

The junior reporters, to be divided into three groups, will go on a cultural study tour to some of Chengdu's international sister cities, including Chiang Mai, Thailand, Sheffield, the UK, and Montpellier, France, as well as some other foreign cities. The program is aimed to showcase Chengdu's achievements during the Belt and Road development and promote the city's Tianfu Culture and China's national image.

An official from the event organizer said that the kid reporters are hoped, through such international cultural programs, to grow up with lofty ideals, study hard to inherit and develop Chinese culture, and have a stronger belief and better abilities to go global.
