17th CISCC, iWorld Expo to be Held in Chengdu

There will be top-level discussions and exhibitions about VR, AI, Blockchain and 5G here in the city.

The two-day 17th China International Software Cooperation Conference, to be jointly held by the Chengdu Municipal People's Government, Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Department, China Information Technology Industry Federation and International Data Group, will kick off August 22 here in the city.

Featuring 13 activities, the event will bring together more than 2,000 representatives from 700+ companies, scientific research institutions, government departments and industry organizations, to explore hot topics in the software industry such as VR, AI, Blockchain and 5G.

Meanwhile, the iWorld Expo 2019, one of the world's largest event involving mobile and Internet products and applications, will be staged from August 23 to 25 at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Center.

Themed "empowerment, integration, innovation", this year's iWorld, covering an exhibition area of 22,000, will focus on eight fields, including Internet technology, iSports, iCar, VR, innovation and entrepreneurship, iEntertainment, iHealth and software city. It is expected to attract 200+ Chinese and foreign exhibitors as well as 100,000+ visitors.
