WELCOME TO CONNECTIONS
Worship Service: We are continuing our "50 Days of Maturity" this week and Pastor Ken will speak on "Union with Christ." The sermon outline and discussion questions will be available for your small group this week.
Spiritual Maturity Class: We will continue our study from a book called, "Union with God: The Way to Know and Enjoy God" by Rankin Wilbourne. We will discuss "Abide in Christ" and meet at 11:30 a.m. in the Youth Center.
Christian Foundation: This class will teach you how to study the Bible, how to pray and discover God's will, how to be filled with the Spirit, and how to share your faith. The class is led by Colin and his team in Grace Hall at 11:30 a.m.
Friday Night Small Group: Fridays at 8 p.m. at church in E-9. Contact Tiffany Lin at squeakypoof@gmail.com for more info. We will discuss the work of the Holy Spirit this week.
Family Life: We are continuing our study from the Gospel of John this Friday at 8 p.m. in E-10. Contact John Shao at john_shao@yahoo.com for info.
Women's Group: We meet on the second and fourth Saturday of the month at Anni's home, 8:30 a.m. Contact Anni for more info: wonganniy@yahoo.com.
Sunday Small Group: Sundays at 1:30 p.m. at the Cheng residence. Contact Paul at paul.c.cheng@gmail.com for info.
Saturday Prayer Meeting: Join us on May 5, 9 a.m. in Grace Hall to intercede for the church and our missionaries.
YOUTH
Sunday Service: Dr. Stephen Tzeng will be speaking to us this morning and may the Spirit of the Lord anoint him to preach God's word with power.
Sunday school: There is Sunday School TODAY. Sunday school classes begin at 11:30 a.m. All junior high students meet at E-9, all High School class meet at E-10.
SENA: May devotional edition is available for you to pick up at Pastor Ben''s office after the service.
Sabbatical leave: As a reminder, Pastor Ben is still on a sabbatical leave until 5/18. During Pastor''s Ben absence, youth ministry will be supervised and looked after by Pastor Ken. Friday Night fellowship, Sunday service, and Sunday school will be coordinated by youth ministry coworkers. Pray for God''s blessing and new strength upon Pastor Ben during his sabbatical.
ALL CHURCH
Pray for St. Petersburg Short Term Mission (4/23-5/3): 167 people, including 40 seekers, will participate in the Gospel Camp. Please pray for speaker, Pastor Fan, and 11 mission team members from FEC member churches. Seven people from our church will participate in this mission: Ps. Dalen Men, Ps. Kuo Fen Cho, Rubin Chen, Grace Liu, George Wong, Faith Kwan, and Gloria Huang.
2018 Taiwan Short Term Mission: It is from 7/21 to 8/3. This year, we will serve 19 Junior High Schools, over 4000 students in the West Coast Area. Please pray for all preparation works. For enquires please contact Cathy He at 626-297-2518.
Register for the Chinese School Summer Program Now!
Time: 6/18 - 8/17, M. - F., 8:00 a.m. - 6:10 p.m. In the morning, we provide Mandarin classes. In the afternoon, we will strengthen students' English and Math skills. We welcome children who will enter elementary school (K-6th) this fall. Enroll by 5/31 to get the early registration discount. Please call the office at (626) 571-5537, ext. 116.

Thanks for Supporting 4/15 Blood Drive: Praise God! 27 brothers and sisters participated in 4/15 Sunday''s blood drive and 13 pints of blood were collected. Thanks to Sylvia Ng and ACC co-workers for their service!
Thanks for Supporting 4/28 Rosemead Community Free Health Fair: Praise God! Many people from the Community, parents from our Chinese School, students from Seminaries, brothers and sisters from our church and House of Abundance, had come to this health fair. Thanks to UCLA Asian Pacific Health Corp for their partnership, and ACC co-workers and volunteers for their service! Special thanks to Karen Duh for her leadership!

Kairos Course (in Mandarin) at FECC - Cerritos Campus
FECA is co-sponsoring a Kairos Course on two weekends - June 2,3 & June 9,10. The Kairos Course is a nine-session, interactive course on world Christian mission, designed to educate, inspire and challenge Christians to active and meaningful participation. Kairos looks at the four main areas of mission concern which are the Biblical, Historical, Strategic and Cultural dimensions of mission.
