It is our hope that 80% of our people will commit to be a part of a group and use their gifts to grow their community. Next Baptism: If you would like to get baptize on March 15 please sign up for a class with pastor Ken.

YOUTH

Sunday Service: Pastor Ben will continue his sermon on the mount series TODAY. There will be no regular Youth Sunday service on 02.09. Many of us are participating in the youthretreat. Join Sunday service with your parents.

Sunday school: All Sunday school classes begin at 11:30 a.m. TODAY.Pastor Ben will teach all junior high class in E-9. Auntie Anni, auntie Vicky, and auntie Virginia will teach Freshman and Sophomore class in E-10. Dr. Glenn will teach Junior and Senior class in pastor Ben's office. There will be no Sunday school on 02.09.

Friday Night Fellowship: No Friday Night Fellowship on 02.07. as we are going to youth retreat in Ojai Valley. Continue to pray for us.

2020YouthWinter Retreat: Praise God for 80 plus people who will be participating in our youth retreat on 2/7-9 at Forest Home: Ojai Valley. All packing list and program book will be distributed on 02.02. Please inform your parents to buy a dinner to eat on the bus before dropping you off at church at 3 pm on Friday, 02.07 and pick you up at church on Sunday, 02.09 at 3 p.m.Pastor Jonathan Yang will be our speaker and Peter Lee with his Undignified Praise Band will lead our worship time.

Church Response to Wuhan Coronavirus: Please pray for the outbreak urgently. Regarding this epidemic please read the attached insert carefully. Please follow these two guidelines: (1) If you are not feeling well (cold, fever, cough, difficulty breathing), please stay home and refrain from attending church; (2) If you have recently been to Wuhan or Hubei Province in China, please remain in your home for 14 days before you return to the church. Thanks for your cooperation!

Donation for Wuhan Coronavirus Relief: Starting this Sunday, the church will receive donation for “Wuhan Coronavirus Relief." The church is now in close contact with suitable partner churches and Christian disaster relief agencies. We hope to send the donations or resources to the disaster areas to support the local church relief work.

Personnel Announcement: Praise God! Janet Chang has accepted the full-time Administrative Director effective 2/1. Please pray and give her full support. We sincerely thank Jennifer Hu for her serving as our church’s part-time Administrative Director from last year to January this year. May God richly reward her.

Youth Retreatwill take place 2/7-9 at Forest Home, Ojai Valley. We will meet at church at 3pm on 2/7 and depart by bus together. More than 80 people from FECSGV, FEC Glendale, and HOA will attend the retreat. Please pray for safe travels, health, and life-transforming encounters with God.

1. Novel Coronavirus 2019 Precautionary Guidelines

In order to prevent the outbreak of novel coronavirus 2019 infections in our churches and communities, FECA suggests all member churches create precautionary guidelines and policies for Sunday services and meetings and distribute them through the church bulletin and any other appropriate methods. A sample of such guidelines and related information from the LA County Public Health and Education Department has been e-mailed to all senior pastors. Each member church can modify the precautionary guidelines and policies according to its own unique situation. We hope every brother and sister will cooperate to ensure the safety of the church and the community. May the Lord protect all of us and bless us with good health. Thanks for your cooperation.
