YOUTH

Sunday Service: Pastor Ben is continuing his sermon on the mount series TODAY. Dr. Stephen Tzeng is coming to share God's Word with us on 03.15. Let's welcome him.

Sunday school: All Sunday school classes begin at 11:30 a.m. TODAY.Pastor Ben will teach all junior high class in E-9. Auntie Anni, auntie Vicky, and auntie Virginia will teach Freshman and Sophomore class in E-10. Dr. Glenn will teach Junior and Senior class in pastor Ben's office.

FECA Youth Joint Event: We will be hosting a special FECA Youth Joint Event 'Traffic' on Friday, 03.13 in Youth Center at 7:30 p.m. Tacos will be served before Ivan Wong and his praise team leading worship time. We will have a sleepover after. Everyone will participate to work on Saturday, 03.14 in Monrovia. Invite your friends to join us!

LENT 2020 – 40 Days of Fasting and Prayer: You are encouraged to select a time each day, or any day, during LENT 2020 (Ash Wednesday 2/26 – Easter Sunday 4/12) to fast and pray. Keep the attached sign-up sheet and follow the attached Fasting and Prayer Guide and the devotional pamphlet “The Sanctuary for Lent 2020” to fast, pray, and reflect. Pray for your relatives, friends who have not yet received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and pray for those who are infected by Coronavirus in China and other countries.

Elder Board Meeting will take place on 3/10 (Tues) at 7:30 p.m. in Grace Hall. Please pray.

Church Response to COVID-19: Please pray for those who are infected with the virus. (1) If you are not feeling well (cold, fever, cough), please seek medical care and refrain from attending church; (2) If you have recently been to an infected area, when you return to US, please wait 14 days before you return to the church. (3) Avoid physical contact when greeting one another at church gathering (such as handshakes or hugs). We have installed hand-sanitizing stations at church for your convenient use.

Temporary Suspend Sunday Lunch at church: In order to comply with the guidance for Faith Based Organizations issued by the LA County Department of Public Health, our church will temporary suspend Sunday lunch effective next Sunday, 3/15, until further notice. Thanks for your understanding.

Donation for Wuhan Coronavirus Relief: The church will collect donation for “Wuhan Coronavirus Relief." Up to last Sunday, we have collected a total of $11,847 donation.

Main Chapel Front Entrance Repair Update: The Elder Board has decided to change the outlook of church’s front door after the car accident last year. We will add wide steps in front of the front gate, and they will extend all the way to Walnut Grove curbside. We apologize for any inconvenience it will cause and we ask for your prayer in this matter.Thank you for your understanding.

3. Pray and Support China Coronavirus Relief Fund

Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus Disease in Wuhan, China, over 70,000 people have contracted the disease and more than a thousand people have died. Many provinces in China are short of medical protection supplies and sanitizers. In response to World Vision’s call for help to support the relief effort in China, FECA is mobilizing all member churches to collect a special love offering on three consecutive Sundays (2/23, 3/1, and 3/8). FECA will coordinate and distribute the collected funds through World Vision to the most needed areas. Please pray for the victims and survivors, relief and medical workers, as well as government agencies that are providing different services. Let us show God’s love and give generously. Please write a check payable to your church, and indicate on the memo line: “Coronavirus Response”.
