Children Ministry’s Zoom VBS 2020: “BOLT Towards Faith in Jesus,” July 26-30,
5:30-7:30 p.m. Registration is closed. 16 leaders will
be serving 97 children from 64
families. May the Good News of Jesus be proclaimed in every small group and
please pray for leaders, children and strong internet connection.
Church Improvement Projects: During this
COVID-19 pandemic when the church’s campus is temporarily closed, the church is
undergoing various Improvement projects.
Pray that God blesses these renovation projects and uses our church to
glorify His name!
When
Will We Reopen Our In-Person Sunday Services? Our Elder Board has decided, for many important reasons,
that our church, including HOA, will be patient and wait for better conditions
before resuming our in-person Sunday services. Details please read our Senior
Pastor’s letter to our Church Family on May 28, which is on our church’s
website.

online or through mail with checks marked “Payable to FECSGV” and specify on

U.S. Census 2020: Respond to the
2020 Census now, either during virtual meetings, email blast, or via social
media postings. Please respond online at my2020census.gov or by calling 844-330-2020. Anyone over the age of 15 can respond for
the household. Over the next 10 years,
data from the 2020 Census will inform the distribution of hundreds of billions
of dollars in federal fund each year that support education, health care,
emergency services, housing and food assistance, and more. Please see the attached e-flyer for detail.

1. Report of COVID-19 Relief in Northern Iraq
Thank you for your support of the
Northern Iraq COVID-19 relief fundraising effort. With the support of the FECA
General Missions Fund of $10,000, we are able to donate $18,000. We are in the
process of purchasing surgical and reusable cloth masks and ship to the refugee
camps.

Spiritual Exercises include daily one-hour devotion, weekly one-hour
spiritual direction, and monthly group meeting on Saturday, 9:00 - 10:15

Financial Aid to Seminarians (for 2020-2021 school year)
This Financial Aid to Seminarians
program was established to provide financial assistance to FECA church members,
on the basis of real financial need, as they receive basic theological training
to become Christian ministers or missionaries. The Financial Aid to Seminarians
Policy and Procedure, and application form may be downloaded from FECA website
(www.feca.org, click "Document Download" at the upper right corner
for a list of documents available for download). All applicants should read
through the Policy and Procedure before filling out the application form.
Application deadlines: Fall admission and returning seminarians: 7/17/2020;
Winter/Spring admission: 9/15/2020.
