2022 Special Thanksgiving Offering (11/20-12/31):  Each year, apart from regular tithing and giving, our church will collect a Special Thanksgiving Offering from Thanksgiving to year-end to support urgent needs in the global mission field. This year, 25% of the donation will be given to support Habibi International’s N. Iraq Refugee Relief and the other 75% will support Taiwan West Coast Mission ministries, which include the summer short-term missions and supporting the seven community centers serving marginalized youth & families and sharing the gospel with them.  Please write “2022 Special Thanksgiving Offering” in the memo line of your donation check or on the offering envelope.  Tax deductible receipt will be issued by the church.

“Grace & Glory” Anniversary Album: In honor of God's grace and glory in our church, the church will publish a “Grace & Glory” Anniversary Album. We hope that from Thanksgiving to the end of the year (11/20-12/31), we can collect from brothers and sisters’ thanksgiving articles and photos to give praises and glory to God.  The number of words in Chinese articles should not exceed 600 words, and 450 words for English articles. You are welcome to submit your articles with high-resolution photos. All articles should be sent to the church office by email or post. The email address of the church office is: admin@fecsgv.org. The deadline is December 31.

12/11 Neighborhood Christmas Gifts: We want to invite you to participate in passing out Christmas gifts to our neighbors on Dec. 11, Sunday, 1:30–3:00 p.m.  Please gather together at 1:00pm in the Youth Center for lunch and orientation before we go out to distribute the Christmas Gifts to neighbors. Let’s spread the light and love of Christ to our community during the holiday.  Come and reach out to our neighbors this season.

1. 2022 FECA Delegates Convention Online Conference

The 2022 FECA Delegates Convention will be held via Zoom Webinar on 12/4/2022 at 2:30 pm; we request all 2022 FECA Delegates from all member churches to register online before 12/1/2022 and reserve time to attend this important annual event. 2. FECA Spiritual and Ministry Formation (One-Day Retreat)

3. Musical Instruments Donation

FECG has often partnered with a nearby Hispanic church. Their worship minister is starting a music school at Union Rescue Mission to help the homeless.  He's looking for used but functioning musical instruments, including keyboards, guitars, drums, saxophones, and trumpets.  Anyone who wants to donate an instrument please contact Mari (mari@fecg.org).  Union Rescue Mission will issue donation receipts for the donated musical instruments and arrange for pickup.

4.   COVID Test Kits

The Habibi medical team will need COVID test kits (expiration date at least in March 2023) to bring with them next February. So please start collecting these test kits for their forthcoming mission trip next year.
