Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry based on the Stephen Series system. It equips and empowers lay caregivers-called Stephen Ministers-to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

Stephen Ministry is a non-profit Christian organization founded in 1975 and headquartered in St. Louis. To date, over twelve thousand congregations in 26 countries have enrolled in the Stephen Series. FECSGV has enrolled in the Stephen Series since 2015, giving us access to its training resources and on-going support.
