AN AUTISTIC WOMAN

AN AUTISTIC WOMAN

While I was in Boston, an elderly sister told me she has a daughter who always shut herself in the room, refusing to see nor talk to anyone, and she wanted me to pray for her.

Before I went to visit her daughter, I prayed with the elderly sister and her family. I also prayed for God to give me words of wisdom and show me how to minister to her. When I arrived at her home, I had a need to go to the bathroom, but before I stepped into the bathroom, the Lord stopped me.

I looked into the room on my left, there was a woman sitting there, I knew right away that is the autistic woman. She looked at me and asked who I am. I said: “I came to talk to you.” Then she began to converse with me in English and even read an English book to me. I said: “Jesus had sent me here today, do you know Jesus love you very much?”

The moment I mentioned Jesus, she stopped talking, but I patiently encouraged her saying: “You are very intelligent, you can do things for God. Why do you shut yourself in the room?”

I knew some who were bound not by the power of darkness, but by their own twisted minds and thoughts. She said to me: “You come to pray for me and not to cast out the evil spirit, while all the pastors came to pray and tried to cast out the evil spirit from me. I am afraid of the evil spirit and am afraid to encounter him, that is the reason why I do not want anyone to pray for me and to drive away the evil spirit.”

In praying for people, we need to speak words of wisdom. There are many instances, whereby an individual is already under the power of darkness. If you tell him, he is demon-possessed, there is a demon in him, the more he would be frightened and wanted to stay away from people. When I talked to this woman, I realized that her mind was far away from God and was dominated by the power of darkness.

Whatever she thought, whatever she encountered was the devil’s doing. Even her parents told people that her daughter was possessed by an evil spirit. I talked to her for a while, then went and discussed with her parents. They were very much surprised saying: “She refused to talk to any pastor who came to our home, yet she was willing to talk to you for so long.”

Not only did we talk for a while, I also was able to bring her out of her room and prayed for her deliverance. I kept on encouraging her: “God wants you to sing, because you can sing very well.”

I wanted her spirit to be lifted up, to know that she is normal and no longer sick. Then she started to sing with us, just like a normal person. Her parents exclaimed: “This is just amazing!”

I told them: “We must know the root of her problem and do what is right. You must not let her remain in darkness, but do your best to encourage her, tell her not to be afraid of darkness. We must have the spirit of discernment.” I told them, because of the spirit of discernment that God gave me, I was able to pray for people, to deliver them from the most difficult problems or the most painful situations. To discern the devil’s doing and to be able to stop it is the key to deliverance.

From that day on the autistic woman was healed. I told her: “God wants you to know that you are in darkness. Wherever the light is, darkness flees. If you are able to discern, you can rebuke the spirit of darkness. If you keep on thinking you are being bound by the evil spirit, your heart, soul and spirit would be under his bondage. So start turning away from the darkness and live in the presence of God, if you want light, light will come upon your life.”

By exhorting, encouraging and praying for her, she understood her problem and  was being delivered.
