1. Psalm詩篇133:1, "How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!
〔大衛上行之詩。〕看哪、弟兄和睦同居、是何等的善、何等的美。”

2. Fist Corinthians 1:10-17林前1:10-17

  1. I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.

10.弟兄們、我藉我們主耶穌基督的名、勸你們都說一樣的話．你們中間也不可分黨．只要一心一意彼此相合。

 

 

 
  1. My brothers, some from Chloe's household have informed me that there are quarrels among you.
  2. What I mean is this: One of you says, "I follow Paul"; another, "I follow Apollos"; another, "I follow Cephas"; still another, "I follow Christ."
  3. Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the name of Paul?
  4. I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,
  5. so no one can say that you were baptized into my name.
  6. (Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don't remember if I baptized anyone else.)
  7. For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel--not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
  1. 因為革來氏家裡的人、曾對我題起弟兄們來、說你們中間有分爭。
  2. 我的意思就是你們各人說、我是屬保羅的．我是屬亞波羅的．我是屬磯法的．我是屬基督的。
  3. 基督是分開的麼．保羅為你們釘了十字架麼．你們是奉保羅的名受了洗麼。
  4. 我感謝　神、除了基利司布並該猶以外、我沒有給你們一個人施洗．
  5. 免得有人說、你們是奉我的名受洗。
  6. 我也給司提反家施過洗．此外給別人施洗沒有、我卻記不清。
  7. 基督差遣我、原不是為施洗、乃是為傳福音．並不用智慧的言語、免得基督的十字架落了空。

PREFACE:
A House Unity (一家合一: 和睦同居) we need families, community and country all to have unity, then we will be standing firm and strong. The Bible says in Matthew 12:25, "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.” (Matthew 馬太福音12:25). 凡一國自相分爭、就成為荒場、一城一家自相分爭、必站立不住。
 

Let's be reminded, "God is not the author of confusion," Satan is contention 爭論 and strife (爭奪) come from the carnal (肉體、世俗) side of a person...it is flesh.

Paul speaks to that in the book of Galatians (Galatians加拉太書5:16-21): "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife. “This is what the Church was at Corinth--it was a house divided against it. And, what did Jesus say? "A house divided against itself cannot stand"

 

We must be standing firm, some Words from Bible that need to be reminded:
1. (Galatians 加拉太書 5:16-21).

    16. So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

    17. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit and the Spirit what is    contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.

    18. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

  1. The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
  2. idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
  3. And envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
  1. 我說、你們當順著聖靈而行、就不放縱肉體的情慾了。
  2. 因為情慾和聖靈相爭、聖靈和情慾相爭．這兩個是彼此相敵、使你們不能作所願意作的。
  3. 但你們若被聖靈引導、就不在律法以下。
  4. 情慾的事、都是顯而易見的．就如姦淫、污穢、邪蕩、
  5. 拜偶像、邪術、仇恨、爭競、忌恨、惱怒、結黨、紛爭、異端、
  6. 嫉妒、醉酒、荒宴等類、……行這樣事的人、必不能承受　神的國

 

 

 

 

 2. The Bible says in Proverbs 26:21, "As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire;   so is a contentious man to kindle strife." 好爭競的人煽惑爭端、就如餘火加炭、火上加柴一樣。For Example: In the spring of 1894, the Baltimore Orioles came to Boston to play what was expected to be a routine baseball game. What happened was routine.  The Orioles' John McGraw got into a fight with Boston's third baseman. Within minutes all the players from both teams had joined in the brawl.
Soon the conflict spread to the grandstands and quickly went from bad to worse. Someone set fire to the stands and the entire ballpark burned to the ground. The fire then spread to 107 other Boston buildings. Unfortunately, this sort of thing is not unique to the ball field, but sometimes happens in what one would expect to be the least likely of places, like a local church, how many churches have been destroyed because of certain people could not get along? God's desire for us, as believers, is that we be untied as one in Christ.

3.  Let us review a good verse:
    Psalm詩篇133:1, "How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!

As a result, we must follow God’s desire and that is the unity of the people. Therefore, the goal is to put aside the petty differences and unit in harmony with others and then, we can accomplish one of the most important desires of Christ and therefore, fulfill God’s plan.
