Preface: We studied last week in the way of fasting an opportunity to focus on
God, practice self-control, and live for God’s goodness toward others.
This week, we review
Genesis 1, 2 see that God created both man and woman in His image and both are equal in God’s sight.
1.
You Are Created in the Image of God
Genesis1:26,Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them
rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock,
over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
27,
So God
created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male
and female he created them. Commentary: 1) “Our” image: God use the plural form, “Let us make man in our image (v.26), this is a reference to the Trinity-God
the Father, Jesus Christ (Son of God) and the Holy Spirit -
all of whom are God – a) JOB 33:4 “The Spirit of God has made me; the
breath of the Almighty gives me life.”
b) Psalms 104:30- “When you send your Spirit,
they are created, and you renew the face of the earth.”
2) God’s
Character: We will never be totally like God because He is our Supreme Creator. But we do have the ability to
reflect God’s Character in our love, patience, forgiveness, kindness, and
faithfulness.
3) No criticizing or downgrading: Because we bear God’s image,
we can feel positive
about
ourselves. Criticizing or downgrading ourselves is criticizing what God has
made and the abilities He has given us. Knowing that you are a person of
worth helps you to love God. Know Him personally, and make a valuable
contribution to those around you.
2. You’re Created As An Equal
Partner
Genesis 1:28; 2:18-22 1) Genesis 1:28 b “fill the earth and subdue
it.
Rule over every living creature that moves on the ground." It meant fill
the earth and subdue it. 2) God Created you and your spouse to become Oneness: God’s creative work was not
complete until He made woman. He could have made her from the dust of the
ground as He made man. God made her from the man’s flesh and bone. So husband
and wife symbolically became one flesh. The goal in marriage should be more
than friendship; it should be Oneness. Ge.2:18-22 3) Goal of you is honoring God Ge.2:21-23, God forms and equips you and
your spouse for various tasks, but all these tasks lead to the same goal - honoring God. Man
gives life to the woman; woman gives life to the world. Each role carries
exclusive privileges; there is not room for thinking that one sex is superior
to the other.

You Are Created for Human Bonding Both men and women are reminded of God’s Plan. When we
remember we are created in the image of God. God placed a portion of
Himself in each of us to make it possible.

POINT: You
then have the supreme being ruler’s power and spirit inside of you! Matt.
19:4, 5, "…at the
beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' For this reason a man will
leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will
become one flesh'. Then, Who are you really? (Both are
in the Image of God and two better than one, to have more power). If God Plans
you to be a single person, who are you
really? You have God’s
Plan, and God created you in the Image of Him. Please read the bible
daily! Then you can fulfill His plan, you will see that you are the happiest person
in the world!

上週、我們學習禁食禱告是個機會、能注神上帝、操練自己控制自己和活出上帝的善良去對待別人。
這週, 我們複習創世記看到上帝照著自己的形像造男造女、且以祂對男、女的眼光都是相等的。
1.您是照著上帝的形像被照
創世記1章
- 神說、我們要照著我們的形像、按著我們的樣式造人、使他們管理海裡的魚、空中的鳥、地上的牲畜、和全地、並地上所爬的一切昆蟲。
- 神就照著自己的形像造人、乃是照著他的形像造男造女。解經： 1) “我們＂的形像 (v.26), 為什麼上 帝用複數的代詞“我們＂稱呼自己呢？乃是指出三位一体的神：上帝、耶穌和聖靈。上帝的兒子基督和上帝的靈也參與了創造的工作。a) 約伯記 33:4 “神的靈造我、全能者的氣使我得生”。 b) 詩篇104:30 “你發出你的靈、他們便受造．你使地面更換為新”
2) 上帝的特性:
我們無論如何不會跟上帝一樣，因為祂是我們的最高創造主(our Supreme Creator)；不過，我們能在愛心、忍耐、饒恕、仁慈和信實這幾方面放映上帝的特性。
3) 不要自我批評和妄自菲薄:
自我批評和妄自菲薄是否定上帝的創造和 祂給您的能力。您對自己的價值有真正的認識，才能愛祂、認識祂和服事祂所創造的人。
2.您是被照與您的配偶同等地位
創世記1章28;
2:18-22 1) 創世記1:28 b “…治理這地．管理海裡的魚、空中的鳥．和地上各樣行動的活物。” 軟膏地球、管愛動、植物的意思 。 2) 上帝創造合一的夫婦 上帝的創造工作直到祂創造了女人才告完成。祂本可像造男人那樣用地上的土造女人；然而祂選擇用男人的骨頭和肉來造女人。祂要向您說：婚姻是兩人的心靈和生命奇妙的結合使成蜜友，更成一體。 創世記2章18-22.
3) 您的任務是要榮耀上帝:
創二21-23,上帝裝備您和您的配偶有不同的任務，而這一切任務都要榮耀上帝。女人由男人而出，人又是由女人而生，每個角色都有其獨特行性，在性別上並沒有誰比較好或不好之分別。
3. 您是被照有契約性的 無論男或女都有上帝的計劃 (God’s Plan).
記得您是照著上帝的形像被照，是有上帝的特性在您裏面，您就成為有上帝的靈又有能力的人呀！

要點：您有全能的主宰之大能在您裏面, 馬太福音19:4, 5, “起初造人的、是造男造女、 …因此、人要離開父母、與妻子連合、二人成為一體”。您倆不就加倍有力量了嗎？ 若您是單身就專心讀經、聽神的聲音與全能的主宰同心，有大能在您裏面，好專心完成神給您的人生目標，上帝的計劃是最好不過的呀！
