前言PREFACE: 今天的信息是保羅百公里外寫信給腓立比的基督徒，他表示與其所有的朋友有極度的信心。保羅說 “我知道您們站得穩”，這是我們的題目。 “站得穩”是說以腓立比人自己的 “行事為人與基督的福音相稱”-1:27。Paul is in Rome writing a letter to the Christians at Philippi several hundred miles away. He appears to be supremely confident that all is well with his friends. “I Know You Stand Firm” is the title of our session. The standing firm is conditioned by the Philippians conducting themselves “in a manner worthy of the gospel”.

             the ways our challenges can become opportunities in the kingdom of God.

這週This Week：我們將看到重要的是不要專注自己，但要專注耶穌之模範活出我們之信仰。

              We will see the importance of taking our eyes off self                        and looking to Christ’s example as the model of living out our faith.

 

1.服從和合一Obedience and Unity: 經文 Scriptures: 腓立比書Philippians 1:27-30,

27. 只要你們行事為人與基督的福音相稱．叫我或來見你們、或不在你們那裡、可以聽見你們的景況、知道你們同有一個心志、站立得穩、為所信的福音齊心努力．

28. 凡事不怕敵人的驚嚇．這是證明他們沉淪、你們得救、都是出於　神。

  1. 因為你們蒙恩、不但得以順服基督、並要為他受苦。
  2. 你們的爭戰、就與你們在我身上從前所看見、現在所聽見的一樣。

27. Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel

28. without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved--and that by God.

  1. For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him,
  2. since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.

解經Commentary from N.I.V.p.2548 & 靈修版537頁: 腓立比書Philippians 1:27-30

V.27, 保羅鼓勵信徒合一，就如他們 “同有一個新志站立得穩。”可惜的是一些教會花很多時間互相攻擊，而不聯合抵禦真正之敵人，因此教會需要勇敢的抵擋內亂，持手共同之目標，就是服事基督。Paul encourages the believers to be unified, as they “Stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith.” How sad that much time and effort is lost in some churches by fighting against one another instead of uniting against the real opposition! It takes a courageous church to resist in-fighting and to maintain the common purpose of serving Christ.

V.29, 保羅認為基督受苦是一個特權，我們的本性並不會認為受苦是一個特權，但當我們受苦，忠實代表基督時，我們的信仰和榜樣就會影響別人(徒5:41)。 受苦曾加以下之益處 : 1) 受苦拿走眼神注重世上的舒適 ; 2)受苦淘汰表面上的基督徒。                                   Paul considered it a privilege to suffer for Christ. We do not by nature consider suffering a privilege. Yet when we suffer, if we faithfully represent Christ, our message and example affect us and others for good (see Acts 5:41). Suffering has these additional benefits: 1) it takes our eyes off of earthly comforts; 2) it weeds out superficial believers.

V.30, 保羅一生為傳福音而受苦。 像腓立比人，我們與所有不相信耶穌基督救恩的人都有衝突。在此戰爭中，所有真正的信徒都應當聯合起來，抵抗同一敵人。                               Throughout his life Paul suffered for spreading the gospel. Like the Philippians, we are in conflict with anyone who would discredit the saving message of Christ. All true believers are in this fight together, uniting against the same enemy for a common cause.

 

2.     恐懼和戰兢Fear and Trembling: 經文 Scriptures reading: 腓立比書Philippians 2:1-13,

  1. 所以在基督裡若有甚麼勸勉、愛心有甚麼安慰、聖靈有甚麼交通、心中有甚麼慈悲憐憫、
  2. 你們就是意念相同、愛心相同、有一樣的心思、有一樣的意念、使我的喜樂可以滿足。
  3. 凡事不可結黨、不可貪圖虛浮的榮耀．只要存心謙卑、各人看別人比自己強。
  4. 各人不要單顧自己的事、也要顧別人的事。
  5. 你們當以基督耶穌的心為心。
  6. 他本有　神的形像、不以自己與　神同等為強奪的．
  7. 反倒虛己、取了奴僕的形像、成為人的樣式．
  8. 既有人的樣子、就自己卑微、存心順服、以至於死、且死在十字架上。
  9. 所以　神將他升為至高、又賜給他超乎萬名之上的名、
  10. 叫一切在天上的、地上的、和地底下的、因耶穌的名、無不屈膝、
  11. 無不口稱耶穌基督為主、使榮耀歸父　神。
  12. 這樣看來、我親愛的弟兄、你們既是常順服的、不但我在你們那裡、就是如今不在你們那裡、更是順服的、就當恐懼戰兢、作成你們得救的工夫．
  13. 因為你們立志行事、都是　神在你們心裡運行、為要成就他的美意。
  1. If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,
  2. then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.
  3. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
  4. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
  5. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
  6. Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
  7. but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
  8. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross!
  9. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
  10. that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
  11. and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
  12. Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
  13. for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

 

 


 

 


解經Commentary from N.I.V.p.2548-2550 & 靈修版537-538頁, 腓立比書Philippians 2:1-13,

a 在服事中有喜樂Joy in serving, 2:1-5, 保羅強調靈裏合一，要求信徒彼此相愛，同一心思和目標。當我們一起努力，關心別人的問題如同自己的問題，以基督為榜樣，將別人的事放在自己的事之上，就能體現合ㄧ的生命。不要太計較自己的形象或迎合自己的需要，以致損害了神家裏彼此的感情。要聯想耶穌是一位實實在在的模範，更體念別人的興趣。保羅鼓勵我們要表現對別人的興趣，這就是正面的與基督徒們走上保持 “合一”之關係。耶穌基督是謙卑，放棄祂自己的權利為服從上帝和服事人。像祂，我們應有服事人的態度。服事神的愛和他人。切記 ! 您可找機會服事他人。(讀馬可10:45,因為人子來、並不是要受人的服事、乃是要服事人、並且要捨命、作多人的贖價。)

Paul stressed spiritual “unity”, asking people to love one another and to be one in spirit and purpose. When we work together, caring for the problems of others as if they were out problems, we demonstrate Christ’s example of putting others first, and we experience “unity”, don’t be so concerned about making a good impression or meeting your own needs that you strain relationships in God’s family. Considering others’ interests as more important than our own links us with Christ, who was a true example of humility; Paul encourages us showing genuine interest in others is a positive step forward in maintaining “unity” among believers.

           Jesus Christ was humble, willing to give up his rights in order to obey God and serve people. Like Christ, we should have a servant’s attitude, serving out of love for God and for others, remember that you can look for opportunities to serve others. b耶穌, 服事之神子, Jesus, the Servant Son, (2:6-11) 正如人子來、不是要受人的服事、乃是要服事人．並且要捨命、作多人的贖價。v. 2:5-7, 耶穌肉成道生, 祂成為人，被稱為耶穌，但祂仍然是神，放下自己的榮耀和權能。為成全父神旨意，限制自己的能力和知識，耶穌顯示神的性格。(有關道成若肉身的真理，請參閱約一:1-14; 羅馬ㄧ:2-5; 林後8:9; 提前3:16; 來2:14約一1:1-3。) “Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. " v. 2:5-7, Jesus became a human being, the man called Jesus he did not give up his deity to become human, he set aside the right to his glory and power. In submission to the Will of Father’s will, Christ limited his power and knowledge. Jesus showed us everything about God’s character.

 

3. 信實活出，就像耶穌The Faithful Work Out, to be like Christ (v.2:12, 13), “作成你們得救的工夫” 意旨繼續不要怕或懷疑，要為救贖工作努力，但必小心過著我們信仰的生活，我們必需專住基督不可轉移目標。要像耶穌，我們要訓練自己思想如耶穌，必須要遵守上帝的話和犧牲自我的精神，做祂要我們作的，和信任祂的能改變我們。To be like Christ, we must train ourselves to think like Christ, we need obedience to God’s Word and sacrificial service. Do what he wants and trust him to change us. “Work out your salvation”, it means continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. We must careful about what we believe and how we live; we must focus our attention and devotion even more on Christ so that we won’t be sidetracked. To be like Christ, we must train ourselves to think like Christ, we need obedience to God’s Word and sacrificial service. Do what he wants and trust him to change us.

 

3.     結論Conclusion:

1)     服從和合一Obedience and Unity: 保羅不只教我們活出為基督的福音過有價值的生活，也要認定耶穌供應雙者模範和旨意，過那生命充滿聖靈大能的生活。如何能引導我們自己在福音的價值上站得穩呢？(以順從上帝的話，和上帝的大能同在，領導我們生活。) 保羅要他們 (或我們) 合一和站穩不要爭執 ( vv. 27-28)和功擊。

Paul not only calls us to live a life “worthy” of the gospel of Christ, but also knows that Jesus provides both the model and the means, to live that life fully by the power of the Holy Spirit. How we might conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel enable us to stand firm? (By obeying God’s Word we allow God’s power and presence to guide and direct our lives.) Paul asks them to strive together, stand firm, and not be frightened (Vv. 27-28) and attacked。

2)     恐懼和戰兢Fear and Trembling: 保羅就供應他們合一之例，基於耶穌謙虛的行為 ; 愛心、溫柔、同情、腦子單純、和關心別人。 Paul then offers an example of how they should live together in the face of adversity based on Jesus’ model of humility; Love, tenderness, compassion, singleness of mind and spirit for the sake of others.

3) 信實活出，就學像耶穌The Faithful Work Out, to be like Christ (v.2:12, 13).
