前言PREFACE:  基督徒之主要和睦關係是愛的恭敬和犧牲。保羅寫以弗所書5:21, 說到這字“恭敬”給所有基督徒的家庭。兩千年後的今天，我們仍在討論關於服事與服從。這星期的主題是“恭敬於聖靈之能力”， 請莊重的看這重要的觀念吧!

The keys to harmonious relationships among Christians are loving submission and sacrifice. Paul wrote in Ephesians 5:21, the word “submission” in his instructions to Christian households. Two thousand years later, we are still debating about the command to submit. This week’s article, “Submission in the Power of the Spirit”, take a serious look at this important concept!

 

上週Last Week：我們看到信徒如何繼續成長，如有耶穌之形像。We explored the importance of as believers, must continually grow in Christ likeness.

這週This Week：將看到我們恭敬於聖靈之態度、這方式在信徒的生活裏，是必須的。      We will look at the way an attitude of submission is necessary in the life of the believer.

 

1.       腳步要聰明Walk Wisely: 經文 Scriptures reading: 以弗所書Ephesians5:18-21,

  1. 不要醉酒、酒能使人放蕩、乃要被聖靈充滿。
  2. 當用詩章、頌詞、靈歌、彼此對說、口唱心和的讚美主．

20.  凡事要奉我們主耶穌基督的名、常常感謝父　神。         

21.  又當存敬畏基督的心、彼此順服。

解經: 以弗所書5:18-21, 保羅在15-21節給我們正面和負面的看法:              +你們要謹慎行事、(5:15)                                                    -不要像愚昧人、                                 +當像智慧人．                                           +要愛惜光陰、因為現今的世代邪惡。 (v.16)            -不要作糊塗人(v.17a)                           + 了解上帝之旨意是什麼(v.17b)           -不要醉酒、酒能使人放蕩、 (v.18a)                            +乃要被聖靈充滿。 (v.18b)                       +當用詩章、頌詞、靈歌、彼此對說、 (v.19a)      + 口唱心和的讚美主(v.19b)                          +凡事要奉我們主耶穌基督的名、常常感謝父　神。(v.20)                                                 +又當存敬畏基督的心、彼此順服。(v.21)    以弗所書5:21, 像一個關鍵，總訣了保羅的正面口號是要被聖靈之充滿，並介紹基督徒的家庭關係 (5:21-6:9)。智慧人在罪惡的世界需要大能力之來源。糊塗人, 負面的如醉酒、酒能使人放蕩、 (v.18a)                            +也要被聖靈充滿。

 

 

18.   Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.  19. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, 20. Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 21. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Commentary from Ephesians5:18-21, Paul gave positive and negative commands in 5:15-21.                                                  +Watch carefully how you walk、 (5:15)          - not as unwise people                                 +as wise people                                           +Make the most of every opportunity (v.16)            -Do not be foolish(v.17a)                         +Understand what the Lord’s will is(v.17b)           -Do not get drunk on wine(v.18a)                            +Be filled with the Spirit (v.18b)                  +Speak(v.19a)+Sing praises(v.19b)                   +Give thanks(v.20)+Submit(v.21) Ephesians 5:21, like a hinge, concludes Paul’s positive command to be Spirit-filled and introduces the issue of Christian family relationships in 5:21-6:9. Wise living in an evil world requires supernatural resources. The foolish, negative foil was drunkenness.                     He was stressing the consequences of being Spirit-filled.

  

2.       家中相互恭敬Mutual Submission in Families經文 Scriptures reading: 以弗所書Ephesians5:21-27,

  1. 又當存敬畏基督的心、彼此順服.
  2. 你們作妻子的、當順服自己的丈夫、如同順服主．
  3. 因為丈夫是妻子的頭、如同基督是教會的頭．他又是教會全體的救主。
  4. 教會怎樣順服基督、妻子也要怎樣凡事順服丈夫。
  5. 你們作丈夫的、要愛你們的妻子、正如基督愛教會、為教會捨己.
  6. 要用水藉著道、把教會洗淨、成為聖潔、
  7. 可以獻給自己、作個榮耀的教會、毫無玷污皺紋等類的病、乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。
  8. 丈夫也當照樣愛妻子、如同愛自己的身子．愛妻子、便是愛自己了。

 

解經: 以弗所書5:21-27, 6:1-9, V.21,( 腓立比書 2:10,11- 叫一切在天上的、地上的、和地底下的、因耶穌的名、無不屈膝、無不口稱耶穌基督為主、使榮耀歸與父　神。

V.22-24, 真正屬靈的領導包跨服事，正如基督服事門徒甚至為他們洗腳一樣，所以丈夫也要服侍妻子。一個有智慧、榮耀基督的丈夫不會濫用領導的權力，一個有智慧、榮耀基督的妻子也不會輕視丈夫的領導。

 

V.25-30, 比較妻子順福丈夫的教導，保羅用了雙倍的篇幅，來教導丈夫愛妻子。丈夫應該如何愛妻子呢? 1) 樂意為對方犧牲一切，2) 以他的幸福為最基本的考慮， 3) 愛護她如同愛護自己的身體。 沒有妻子會害怕順服這樣對待自己的丈夫。

 

V.26, 27, 教會被基督洗乾淨教會是以洗禮為象徵，經過洗禮我們是已準備參於教會。

 

 

 

經文:以弗所書: 6:1-9

21.  Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. 22. Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23.For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24.Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. 25.Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.    26.to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any-24other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

 Commentary from N.I.V  Eph.5:21-27,                         V.21,(= that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father

V.22-24, Real spiritual leadership involves service. Just as Christ served the disciples, even to the point of washing their feet, so the husband is to serve his wife. A wise and Christ- honoring husband will not take advantage of his leadership role, and a wise and Christ-honoring wife will not try to undermine her husband’s leadership.

V.25-30, Paul devotes twice as many words to telling husbands to love their wives as to telling wives to submit to their husbands. How should a man love his wife? 1) He should be willing to sacrifice everything for her.           2) He should make her wellbeing of primary importance. 3) He should care for her as he cares for his own body.

V.26, 27, Christ cleansed the church by the ‘WASHING’of baptism. Through baptism we are prepared for entrance into the church

  1. 你們作兒女的、要在主裡聽從父母、這是理所當然的。
  2. 要考敬父母、使你得福、在世長壽．這是第一條帶應許的誡命。

  4. 你們作父親的、不要惹兒女的氣、只要照著主的教訓和警戒、養育他們。
  5. 你們作僕人的、要懼怕戰兢、用誠實的心聽從你們肉身的主人、好像聽從基督一般。
  6. 不要只在眼前事奉、像是討人喜歡的、要像基督的僕人、從心裡遵行　神的旨意．
  7. 甘心事奉、好像服事主、不像服事人。
  8. 因為曉得各人所行的善事、不論是為奴的、是自主的、都必按所行的得主的賞賜。
  9. 你們作主人的待僕人、也是同理、不要威嚇他們．因為知道他們和你們、同有一位主在天上、他並不偏待人。

 

解經: 譯自"信心的連接” P.77, 以弗所書6:1-9,  “關於小孩子之責任，保羅引用  “十誡”, 並註解這十誡帶給祝福的應許，但她也忠告父母必須給小孩有適當成長盡上責任，父母不可逃避，或失去管教他們情緒上的問題，或失於愛心，也不可強迫或專制，因為恐怕引起憤恨，寧願以保持服事之好模範。                                                                  

在古時, 美國的奴隸就如一個家庭中之一部分, 有如家庭中的丈夫們, 太太們, 孩子們, 叔叔們, 嬸嬸 們,表弟兄姊妹們等等。主人和奴隸是同等的 “因為曉得各人所行的善事、不論是為奴的、是自主的、都必按所行的得主的賞賜 (6:8)。”

很不幸美國的奴隸制度使美國基督徒很是慚愧，我們不能重演以前的錯誤，我們不能像祖先所做過的錯再重演，但我們可以終結它。我們能做的是禁止家庭的暴動。
  1. Children! obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
  2. "Honor your father and mother"--which is the first commandment with a promise--
  3. "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."
  4. Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
  5. Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.
  6. Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.
  7. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men,
  8. because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.
  9. And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and

Commentary of Ephesians 6:1-9, from the Faith- Connection, P.77, “For the child’s responsibility, Paul cites the Ten Commandments, noting that this commandment carries with it the promise of blessing. But he also gives admonition to parents. They are held responsible for the proper development of their children. They must not run form the responsible discipline of their children in the glow of a misguided sentimental love. Neither are they to be tyrants because that will generate resentment. Rather, their model remains the model of the servanthood.                                                                   

In the ancient world, American slaves were as much a part of extended-families as husbands, wives, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and so on, by placing slaves and masters on equal footing before God, he sowed the seeds of slavery’s eventual destruction (6:8)   

American Christians are ashamed of our nation’s unfortunate history of slavery. We cannot undo the sins of our ancestors. But we can do something to end it. And we can practice zero-tolerance for domestic violence.  

 

 

 

 

3.        結論Conclusion: 今天的信息帶來:Today’s passage brings:

1)   腳步要聰明Walk Wisely: 羅馬書Romans 12:12-14, “在指望中要喜樂．在患難中要忍耐．禱告要恆切。聖徒缺乏要幫補．客要一味的款待。逼迫你們的、要給他們祝福．只要祝福、不可咒詛。”

2)  家中相互恭敬: 以弗所書5:21-27, 6:1-9

     邀請耶穌基督進入我們心中坐寶座，有聖靈之同在和引導，可以做到在家中的相互恭敬。

 

1) Walk Wisely: Romans 12:12-14, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

 2) Mutual Submission in Families: Ephesians5:21-27, 6:1-9

Invite Jesus Christ comes into our heart, Holy Spirit will lead us.  Submission is in the Power of the Holy Spirit. Christians gathering are to be filled with the Spirit.
