前言PREFACE: 今天的經文是以弗所書第四章，有關在耶穌基督裏的合一，和各種不同的恩賜的人在教會中。並非每個人的恩賜相同 ，但我們在上帝的王國上都極其重要的 ，所以在基督裏致使合一的情況下，會發生奇妙的事情。

Today’s scripture passage from Ephesians 4 talks about the unity and diversity in the body of Christ, which is the church. Not everyone is the same, but we are all important to the kingdom, and when we are unified in Christ, amazing things can happen.

 

上週Last Week：我們看到人與人的實在關係，人與上帝的關係是經信主耶穌而有的好關係。We explored how true relationships between people, and between people and God, happens only in Christ.

這週This Week：我們將看到在教會裏的人有不同的恩賜，以耶穌基督為ㄧ中心，聖靈如何帶來 “協調合一”。We look at how the Spirit brings harmony within the diversity of the Church and the ways in which we are one in Christ.

 

1.     The Gift of Christian Unity: 經文 Scriptures reading: 以弗所書Ephesians 4:1-6,

1. 我為主被囚的勸你們、既然蒙召、行事為人就當與蒙召的恩相稱．

2. 凡事謙虛、溫柔、忍耐、用愛心互相寬容、

3. 用和平彼此聯絡、竭力保守聖靈所賜合而為一的心。

4. 身體只有一個、聖靈只有一個、正如你們蒙召、同有一個指望、

5. 一主、一信、一洗、

6. 一　神、就是眾人的父、超乎眾人之上、貫乎眾人之中、也住在眾人之內。

 

Scriptures reading: Ephesians 4:1-6,

1-6 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4, There is one body and one Spirit--just as you were called to one hope when you were called—5, one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.        

 

解經: 載自靈修版第524頁, 不同的人擠在一起會有分支 ，要合一 可大有學問， 問問保羅 ， 保羅說: “身體只有一個”。合ㄧ並不是一 僦而就的，分支常會帶來分裂， 但不應在教會裏發生。 我們不應把目光放在彼此的不同上 ，而應該放在聯合我們的基礎上 : 一個身體， 一個盼望 ，一位主，ㄧ樣的信心，一樣的洗禮， 一位神!  您是否學會欣賞跟您有分別的人呢？您是否看見他們運用不同的恩賜和觀點幫助教會的事工呢?  讓我們享受基督肢體彼此配合的美善吧 ! (參考林前12:12-13) 。

Commentary  from N.I.V.  Ephesians, p. 2534 “There is one body,” says Paul. Unity does not just happen; we have to work at it. Often difference among people can lead to division, but this should not be true in the church. Instead of concentrate ng on what divides us, we should remember what unites us; one body, one Spirit, one God! Have you learned to appreciate people who are different from you? Can you see how their differing gifts and viewpoints can help the church as it does God’s work? Learn to enjoy the way we members of Christ’s body complement one another. (1 Co. 12:12, 13)

 

2. 基督徒不同的恩賜 The Gift of Christian Diversity:   經文: 以弗所書4:7-16:

   Scriptures reading: Ephesians 4:7-16,

7. 我們各人蒙恩、都是照基督所量給各人的恩賜。

                                  But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

8. 所以經上說、『他升上高天的時候、擄掠了仇敵、將各樣的恩賜賞給人。』 This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men."

9. （既說升上、豈不是先降在地下麼．(What does "he ascended" mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions?

10. 那降下的、就是遠升諸天之上要充滿萬有的。）He who descended is the very    one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)

11.          他所賜的有使徒、有先知．有傳福音的．有牧師和教師．                                       

        It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets,

  some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,

12. 為要成全聖徒、各盡其職、建立基督的身體．to prepare

   God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up

13. 直等到我們眾人在真道上同歸於一、認識　神的兒子、得以長大成人、滿有基督長成的身量。until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

14. 使我們不再作小孩子、中了人的詭計、和欺騙的法術、被一切異教之風搖動、飄來飄去、就隨從各樣的異端．Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.

15. 惟用愛心說誠實話、凡事長進、連於元首基督．Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.

16. 全身都靠他聯絡得合式、百節各按各職、照著各體的功用、彼此相助、便叫身體漸漸增長、在愛中建立自己。

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting, ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.                     

解經: Commentary from N.I.V. Ephesians 4:7-16: p.2535-2536

載自靈修版第525-526頁, 以弗所書4:7-16:

v.7, 每個信徒都有上帝所賜的能力， 能強化整個身體 ，您獨特的恩賜可能看來或大或小， 但都是您能夠用來服事上帝的。 祈求上帝使用您那獨特的恩賜， 貢獻給教會。

v.7, Each believer has God-given abilities that can strengthen the whole body. Our special ability may seem small or large, but it is ours to use in God’s service. ASK God to use our unique gifts to contribute to the strength and health of body of believers.

 

V.9, “地下”也許是指1)  地球本身 (相對於天上),  2) 墳墓, 或 3) 陰間 (許多人相信這是靈魂死後暫時居住之地方，直到復活為止). 不管如何理解，基督是整個宇宙 過去、 現在、將來的主，沒有任何人或事在他面前可以隱藏。萬有之主來到這個世界，藉著死亡， 拯救整個人類，他的拯救能力能顧及到任何角落的每一個人。                                                                   V.9.The “lower, earthly regions” may be 1) the earth itself (lowly by comparison to heaven), 2) the grave, or 3) Hades (many believe hades is the resting place of souls between death and resurrection). However we understand it, Christ is Lord of the whole universe, past, present, and future. Nothing or no one is hidden from him. The Lord of all came to earth and faced death to rescue all people. No one is beyond his reach.)

 

V.11-12,  在基督裏的合一並不損害我們的獨特性。聖靈賜給每個信徒特別的恩賜去建立教會， 重要的不是我們擁有什麼恩賜，而是 要好好的運用這恩賜。您的靈性是否成熟? 您怎樣運上帝賜給您的恩賜呢? 如果您知道自己的恩賜 ，就要找機會運用，如果您仍不知道 ，求上帝向您顯明。

V.11-12.Our oneness in Christ does not destroy our individuality. The Holy Spirit has given each Christian special gifts for building up the church. Now that we have these gifts, it is crucial to use them. Are you spiritually mature, exercising the gifts God has given you? If you know what your gifts are, look for opportunities to serve. If you don’t know, ask God to show you.

 

V.12-13,上帝給教會一個重任--  使萬民作祂的門徒 (參考太28:18-20) 這包括了宣講、教導、醫治、牧養、給於、管理、建立以及其他許多工作。要我們個別去完成這個使命，是根本不可能的。但上帝呼召我們成為一個群體，彼此配踏，就能成就更多的工作，也就能更完滿的順從上帝。一起同工，教會就能顯出基督的豐盛。God has given his church an enormous responsibility-to make disciples in every nation (Matthew 28:18-20). This involves preaching, teaching, healing, nurturing, giving, administering, building and many other tasks.  God calls us as members of his body. Some of us can do one task; some can do another. Working together, the church can express the fullness of Christ.

 

V.4:14-16, 基督是真理(參約翰:14:6) ，引導教會的聖靈也是真理的靈 (參約16:13)。反之，撒但是說謊之人的父 (參約8:44)。作為基督的追隨者，我們必須委身真理，這表示我們說話應該誠實，我們的行為應該放映基督的完全。 “用愛心說誠實話並不容易” 往往會招來許多麻煩和不快，但是教會要在地上完成基督的工作，這是必須的。

V.4:14-16, Christ is the truth (John 14:6), and the Holy Spirit who quides the church is the Spirit of truth (John 16:13). Satan, by contrast, is the father of lies (John 8:44). As followers of Christ, we must be committed to the truth. This means both that our words should be honest and that our actions should reflect Christ’s integrity. Speaking the truth in love is 。not always easy, convenient, or pleasant, but it is necessary if the church is going to do Christ’s work in the world.

 

3. 結論Conclusion:

a. 基督徒聯合的恩賜: 我們生活在 “很值得被呼召” 的生命中，是上帝的計畫之ㄧ，我們是應該用個自不同的恩賜和能力，一齊為福音的好消息傳播。

The Gift of Christian Unity: We are living a life “worthy of the calling”, they are part of God’s plan, we should use our different gifts and abilities, together to spread the Good News of salvation. 

b. 基督徒各異的恩賜 : 上帝以祂的創造，用我們不同的恩賜、興趣、技能等等，而將聖靈賜給各種不同恩賜的我們，雖個不相像，卻是以 “愛”聯合成一體 (v.16) 。我們要長成有基督的模樣。

The Gift of Christian Diversity: God uses us as He made us: with diverse gifts, interests, and skills. Then God gives the Spirit to bring unity in the diversity. We don’t all look alike, but we are all His, and are one in the bonds of love (v.16). We want to develop into the likeness of Christ.
