Title: Prayer for Bringing the Mission Work

: 禱告帶來的宣教工作
Scripture: Acts 1:8,
Jesus told His disciples, ‘you will receive power when the Holy
Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
’

: 使徒行傳 1 章8 節 耶穌向門徒們說，聖靈降臨在你們身上，門徒們就必得
著能力；並要在耶路撒冷、猶太全地和撒瑪利亞，直到地極，作祂的見證。
A. Preface
前言:
Mission work is doing the testimony to the people. We all have the testimony,
because we all have accepted or received Jesus Christ before.
福音之工作就是向眾人作見證，我們都是已經接受耶穌的人，都是祂的見證
人。
‘Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to
become children of God —
John 1:12’
約翰
1:12 凡接待他的，就是信他名的人，祂就賜給他們權柄，作神的兒 女。

. Outline:
1. Prayer Meeting in the Pentecost
, they were waiting for ONE who had the power.
Have you ever waited for someone with power?
For example, you were waiting for the boss, he looked at you, acting like he had
power, but our God is not like that, He said, when you open your heart, I welcome
you.
All of people in the Pentacles who filled the Holy Spirit and witness Him; Jesus
said, the wind will blow that Holy Spirit into our hearts
(Ac.2:1-4, author’s
translation)
. ‘When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
Suddenly a sound like blowing violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole
house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be
tongues of fire that
separated and
came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the
Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues
[also in verse 11] as the Spirit
enabled them
.(Ac. 2:1-4) ’
禱告的結果，在使徒行傳
2:1-4, 說，五旬節到了，門徒都聚集在一處。忽然，
從天上有響聲下來，好像一陣大風吹過，充滿了他們所坐的屋子；又有舌頭
如火焰顯現出來，分開落在他們各人頭上。他們就都被聖靈充滿，按著聖靈
所賜的口才說起別國的話來。
For example: John said to others that Jesus can baptize you with the Holy Spirit.

2. Church people were fasting to do prayer, all disciples got the power.
教會的人作了禁食的禱告 門徒就得著能力

The Church plan is more important than our individual planning:
Sometimes
you got a rejection, but later when
you had feedbacks, you knew it is better to get a
rejection because God has better plan for you. Paul rejected by others so he could
not fulfill his own wish, but when Paul obeyed the Spirit leading, he saved a lady’s
life. Also, when he was preaching in jail, suddenly the gate opened automatically,
none of them went away, because all of them knew the
Eternal Life is more
important than the life in the earth, they felt that even though they were in jail, it
was not big deal at all to them, they all confessed sins to God and accepted Jesus
Christ, they knew that they would have
Eternal Life, they want to hear more
preaching from Paul.
教會的計劃大過於吾人之計劃
: 當時你不知道, 後來才知之. 保羅被拒絕不能
如願
, 神使他救了一位女士. 保羅並在獄中講道, 獄中的鉄門突然間打開, 但是
沒有任何一個人逃命
, 他們清楚他們已得了永生. 就不必要逃生，大家就都認
罪悔改，並等待著，繼續聽他的講道 。

禱告的重要: Prayer is so important without it you cannot do anything. We must
say the God’s word, what is the God’s word? The God’s word
is praise Him first,
then ask
. We are not going to ask what we want, we would ask, “God, what
you want us to do?’
禱告之重要是何等的大呢
! 沒禱告是不能做甚麼事的。我們要說上帝的話，但
何時我們說上帝的話呢
? 禱告時要說上帝的話。 說上帝的話，乃是先讚美神.
然後祈求神。不是要神做甚麼，乃是問神，
“上帝呀! 祢要我們作甚麼? ”
