前言PREFACE: 生命包含我們過去、現在、和將來之影響。上帝為拯救世界之計畫是最終極之例。今天自以弗所書的信息。我們將看到這敬畏之計畫, 和如何影響我們之過去、現在、和將來。Life contains moments that effect our past, present, and future. God’s plan for the salvation of the world is the ultimate example of such an event. Today we begin a series of sessions from Ephesians. We will take a look at this awesome plan, and how it affects our past, present, and future.

 

上週Last Week：我們看到保羅的喜樂方式的事實是來自與耶穌同在。We will see the way in which Paul’s joy came from the fact that Christ was with him.

這週This Week：我們將發現拯救、赦罪、和恩典在我們生活中之出現。

          We will explore what redemption, forgiveness, and grace look like in our lives.

 

1.      聖潔之上帝和信實之人民God’s Holy and Faithful People:

經文 Scriptures : 以弗所 書Ephesians 1:1-2

     1. 奉　神旨意、作基督耶穌使徒的保羅、寫信給在以弗所的聖徒、就是在基耶穌裡有忠心的人．2.願恩惠平安、從　神我們的父、和主耶穌基督、歸與們。

     1. Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace and peace are to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

解經: 第一句保羅用“在耶穌基督耶穌裡” 這是主要所有保羅之書信寫作之鑰。我 們所作與上帝之子民都發生“在耶穌基督裡”。

“在耶穌基督裡”是何意思呢?   您想一位基督徒或教會可能不在耶穌 基督裡嗎? 非常重要是若看到只有名字是基督徒, 但每天與基督無關是沒有根基, 是注定失敗, 在世上能做出 阻擋王國之事。故僅有純粹聖潔和信實就是“在耶穌基督裡。”     

Commentary: Paul uses the phrase “in Christ Jesus” in verse one. This is a key idea  in all of Paul’s writing. Whatever we are to do and be as God’s people, it happens “in Christ.”

What does it mean to be “in Christ?” Do you think it is possible to be a Christian or a church and not be “in Christ”? It is important to see that any effort to live as Christians in name only, not rooted in a daily walk with Jesus, is doomed to failure and that can do significant damage to the work of the kingdom in the world. The only way to be genuinely faithful and holy is to be “in Christ.”

 

2.      計劃The Plan: 經文:以弗所書Scriptures reading: Ephesians 1:3-6, “願頌讚歸與我   們主耶穌基督的父　神、他在基督裡、曾賜給我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣．就如　神從 創立世界以前、在基督裡揀選了我們、使我們在祂面前成為聖潔、無有瑕疵．又因愛我們、就按著自己意旨所喜悅的、豫定我們、藉著耶穌基督得兒子的名分、使祂榮耀的恩典得著稱讚．這恩典是祂在愛子裡所賜給我們的。”

Ephesians 1:3-6, “Praise is to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4-5, For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, He predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—6. To the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

 

解經Commentary: 載自靈修版, 以弗所書519頁, Commentary of v.3-6, from N.I.V.                                                                                  v.3, “祂在基督裡、曾賜給我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣． “意旨在基督裡面我們得到認識上帝的各樣好處 :蒙神揀選得救、成為神的兒女、得赦罪、有智慧和聖靈的恩賜、有遵行上帝旨意的能力、又有與主同在的盼望。我們跟基督之緊密關係, 使我們現在可以享受此等福氣。“天上”是指這些福氣是永遠的 這些福氣來自基督屬靈的國度。(參1:20;2:6; 3:10)

v.3, “Who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing” means that in Christ we have all the benefits of knowing God-being chosen for salvation, being adopted as his children, forgiveness, insight, the gifts of the Spirit, power to do God’s Will, the hope of living forever with Christ. Because we have an intimate relationship with Christ, we can enjoy these blessings now.

The heavenly realm means that these blessing are eternal, not temporal. The blessing come for Christ’s spiritual realm, not the earthly realm of the goodness  (see1:20;2:6; 3:10)。

 

v.4, 上帝揀選我們, 是依據祂的計劃, 我們得救並不是因為我們配得, 我們不可以自己的得救而跨口, 引以為傲。是很難了解上帝能接受我們, 但因為耶穌, 在耶穌裡面我們是純潔、和無有瑕疵。上帝揀選我們, 當我們經耶穌屬於上帝。上帝看我們就如我們沒有做過錯事, 我們所要做對上帝之愛表示感恩。

God chose us, saved us according to His plan; there is no way to take credit for our salvation or to allow room for pride. It is hard to understand how God could accept us. But because of Christ, we are holy and blameless in his sight. God chose us, and when we belong to him through Jesus Christ, God looks at us as if we had never sinned. All we can do is express our thanks for his wonderful love.

 

v. 5, “預定” 是事先決定. 換句話說, 救恩是上帝之工作, 而不是我們自己之行為。上帝藉耶穌之犧牲, 帶領我們進入神的家, “既是兒女、便是後嗣、就是　神的後嗣、和基督同作後嗣．如果我們和祂一同受苦、也必和祂一同得榮耀—(羅馬8:17)。”按照羅馬法律, 養子和親生子享有同樣之權利, 保羅就用這方式, 表達我們與上帝之親密關係。您是否已經與上帝建立這種愛之關係呢? (有關 “收納”請參考:5-7節) 。

“Predestined” means marked out beforehand. Salvation is God’s work and not our own doing. In His infinite love, God has adopted us as his own children. Through the sacrifice of Jesus, he has brought us into his family and made us heirs along with Jesus. (Romans 8:17) In Romans law, adopted children had the same rights and privileges as biological children, even if they had been slaves. Paul uses this term to show how strong our relationship to God is.  

 

V.6, “在愛子裡所賜給我們的”指雖然我們不配, 上帝仍然滿有恩典的接納我們, 使我們成為屬神的愛兒子。

 V.6, “Freely given us in the One he loves” means that God graciously accepts us (though we don’t deserve it) now that we belong to his dearly loved Son.

 

3. 代價The Price: 經文:以弗所書1:7-10, Scriptures Ephesians 1:7-10

7. 我們藉這愛子的血、得蒙救贖、過犯得以赦免、乃是照他豐富的恩典． 8. 這恩典是　神用諸般智慧聰明、充充足足賞給我們的、9.都是照祂自己所豫定的美意、叫我們知道祂旨意的奧秘、10. 要照所安排的、在日期滿足的時候、使天上地上一切所有的、都在基督裡面同歸於一。

7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace. 8, that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. 9 and he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ. 10 To be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

 

解經Commentary:載自靈修版, 以弗所書519頁, & N.I.V. Eph., p. 2528

 v.7-8, 恩典是上帝賜給祂所拯救之人. 我們無法賺取救恩, 也不配接受,

救恩得來之唯一途徑是靠上帝之憐憫和慈愛, 要領受這恩典, 我們必須要承認自己沒辦法自救, 唯有靠耶穌基督領受這恩典。

v. 9, 10, 上帝非刻意嚴守其計畫不為人知, 只是人類無法完全明白上帝對世人所定之計畫。上帝派基督到來, 為將猶太人和外幫人合而為一,   以基督為元首。今天許多人仍不明白上帝之計畫,  但在適當之時, 就是在日期滿足之時, 上帝會招集    我們永遠與祂同在, 所有人都明白了。 那一天所有人不管是愛祂還是敬畏祂的權能， 都會向耶穌跪拜，成他為主。(腓立比書2:10, 11).

v. 7, 8, Grace is God’s voluntary and loving favor given to those he saves. We cannot earn salvation, nor do we deserve it. No religious, intellectual, or moral effort can pain it, because it comes only from God’s mercy and love. Without God’s grace, no person can be saved. To receive it, we must acknowledge that we cannot save ourselves, that only God can save us, and that our only way to receive this loving favor is through faith in Christ.

v. 9, 10, God was not intentionally keeping his plan a secret, but his plan for the world could not be fully understood until Christ rose from the dead. His purpose for sending Christ was to unite Jews and Gentiles in one body with Christ as the head. Many people still do not understand God’s plan; but when the time is right, he will bring us together to be with him forever. Then everyone will understand. On that day, all people will bow to Jesus as Lord, either because they love him or because they fear his power (see Philippians 2:10, 11).

 

4.  應許The Promise: Scriptures: 經文:以弗所書Ephesians 1:11-14,

11.我們也在祂裡面得了基業、 這原是那位隨己意行作萬事的、照著祂旨意所豫定的。12.       叫他的榮耀、從我們這首先在基督裡有盼望的人、可以得著稱讚。

13.       你們既聽見真理的道、就是那叫你們得救的福音、也信了基督、既然信他、就受了所應許的聖靈為印記．14.      這聖靈、是我們得基業的憑據、直等到　神之民被贖、使他的榮耀得著稱讚。

11-14, In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14, who is a deposit guaranteeing our  inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

 

解經Commentary:靈修版519頁: 1:11-14,& N.I.V. p.2528 Eph. 1:11-14,

v.11-12 上帝早在遠古以前，已定意要拯救世界。 祂是主宰，掌管一切。當您的生命一塌糊塗的 時候，就要仰望真理，耶穌是主。上帝統管萬有。不管撒但用什麼詭計，也無法甘擾祂拯救您的工作。

v.13, 14聖靈是上帝的印記，證明我們是屬於祂的，並且保證祂會成就所應許的。聖靈好像是保證金 或合約上的有效簽署，祂住在我們裏面，印證我們  信心的真實，我們是上帝的兒女，有永生的盼望。 祂的能力如今在我們身上動工，改變我們，讓我們預先嘗到永生的趣味。

v. 11-12 God’s purpose is to offer salvation to the world, just as he planned to do long ago. God is sovereign; he is in charge. When your life seems chaotic, rest in this truth: Jesus is Lord, and God is in control. God’s purpose to save you cannot be thwarted, no matter what evil Satan may bring.

v.13, 14 The Holy Spirit is God’s seal that we belong to him and his deposit quarantining that he will do what he has promised. The holy Spirit is like a down payment, a deposit, a validating signature on the contract. The presence of Holy Spirit in us demonstrated the genuineness of our faith, proves that we are God’s children, and secures eternal life for us. His power works in us to transform us now, and what we experience now is a taste of the total change we will experience in eternity.  

 

結論 Conclusion: 當我們被一星期中單調的、日常事務活動捲土重來， 或者在危險之中，我們經常立刻注意我們周圍的環境。很多次，事情看來不太理想，但是上帝的   目標是為著祂的宇宙，包括為著我們，幫助我們重新計劃。甚至於在試驗或計劃當中，基督徒有 一種不可征服的盼望。上帝的聖靈與我們同在，不論在教會或我們個人的生活中，上帝保證在最後 祂將帶來我們拯救的完成。                     

Conclusion: When we are caught up in the humdrum (單調的、日常事務) activity of our usual week, or in the midst of the crisis, we often focus our attention on our immediate surroundings. Many times, they are less than ideal. But a renewed vision of the scale and grandeur of God’ purposes for His universe, including us, helps restore perspective. Even in the midst of the most trying circumstances, the Christian has an unconquerable hope. The presence of the Spirit in the church and in our personal lives is God’s pledge that He will ultimately bring our redemption to completion.
