“Qingdao” won No.3 of 7th course of
Clipper Round The World Race
After over 20 days’ fierce competition, 11
yacht teams joined 2017-2018 Clipper Round The World Race all arrived at Sanya,
Hainan. During the 7th course, from Airlie Beach of Australia to Sanya of
China, world-renowned “Qingdao”, joined the competition for the 7th consecutive
year, won No.3, consolidated its No.2 position in the total score board.
11 yacht teams will start on 4th March
after rest and supplied in Sanya and head to Qingdao. It is predicted that they
will arrive at Qingdao, the Sailing City of China, during the period from 13th
to 16th March. The destination in Qingdao will move to Wanda Yacht Club in
Starlight Island due to upgrade undertaking in Qingdao Olympics Sailing Center.
This is the 7th consecutive year the world’s famous game is put on in Qingdao.
With 6 courses left, Qingdao yacht ranks 2nd in the total score board currently
and is very likely to get the best score ever in history. (Sun Fei)
