What do you need to
be happy?
This is
something Paul learned through his experience. He says, "I've learned to
be content whatever the circumstances. I know how to be content if I have a lot of stuff."
Contentment has
nothing to do with your circumstances. Contentment is
found in Jesus Christ and him alone.
When we give to others, God supplies all our needs. Everything will be taken care of. God's going to supply all of our
needs; we just have to stay faithful.
Proverbs 11:25 says, "Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered." Paul says:
If you're going to bless other people, you're going to be taken care of.
Psalm 37:25¡V26 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I
have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for
bread. He is ever lending generously, and his children
become a blessing."
